Project overview
PIXIT set out to build Canada’s first direct-to-wall-and-floor digital printing studio, introducing an entirely new design and printing category to the Canadian market. The challenge was not only technical, but educational—customers had to understand why walls and floors could become storytelling surfaces rather than background décor.
PIXIT engaged LIONYX Inc. to create the company from the ground up. Our scope included naming the brand, developing a distinctive visual identity and logo, defining the business and revenue model, and designing a website that clearly communicated the concept, use cases, and value proposition. The objective was to launch PIXIT as both a creative brand and a category pioneer.
PIXIT: How We Created Success
We positioned PIXIT around a powerful emotional idea: walls should create emotion, spark imagination, and shape experiences. This narrative became the foundation for the brand voice, tagline, visual system, and user journey. The name, logo, and identity were designed to feel modern, artistic, and innovative—bridging technology and creativity.
To support market adoption, we structured PIXIT’s offering around clear use cases—homes, retail, hospitality, wellness, education, and events—making the concept immediately understandable. We also introduced PIXtorial™, a subscription-based refresh model that turns wall art into a recurring service rather than a one-time install. The website was built as both a brand showcase and a sales tool, guiding visitors from inspiration to project initiation.
